Data Mobility Connector (DMC)
With the DMC Application Framework we offer you a simple and rapidly deployable solution that allows you to bring any data from your individual corporate applications to your BlackBerry or J2ME-capable mobile phone.
Take advantage of this solution to provide your company’s business executives and mobile workforce with access to corporate applications anytime and anywhere worldwide.
In addition to classic BlackBerry PIM data such as email, calendar, address book and task list, the Data Mobility Connector allows access to information from your corporate applications including internal Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, ERP systems, Production Planning and Control systems (PPC), Management Information Systems (MIS) and/or Lotus Notes database applications. This allows you to provide your employees with essential business information. Moreover, our solution is not limited to merely providing information but also allows data to be modified and created.

Possible Usage Scenarios for the DMC
- Queries on open items, order status, credit limit, etc.
- Queries on item location, inventories, etc. (warehouse management)
- Contact management
- Production order status
- Repair ordering and management
The DMC is a Java application that can be installed on one of the servers in your corporate network. Configurations are stored in the standardized XML format. Connector integration allows access to the middleware layer (e.g. ORACLE, DB2, Domino) as well as the application layer. Application-specific modules can be developed and integrated using the available programming interface.
