IC-RICS increases the availability for all guest systems supported by VMware. In case of an unlimited number of ESX server failures IC-RICS automatically restarts the virtual machineson the ESX servers which are still running. Applications are available again after a short period of time.
The distribution takes place either via round robin or according to the free memory capacity on the ESX Servers. It is also possible to define and precisely predetermine priorities in the starting sequence of the VM. The applications and appliances are thus available again fully automatically within a short period of time.
